Problem

Adapter error on Advanced Mobile Admin portal: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError or The operation has timed out

Advanced Mobile request data from EAM in 5000-row datasets. In EAM, there is an install parameter called wsgridsz, which controls the dataset size for EAM web services, the default is 10,000. So, when Adv Mobile makes a call to EAM, Adv Mobile tells EAM web servers to send the first 5000-row dataset. If wsgridsz parameter is greater than Adv Mobile's dataset request, EAM web services will cache the extra rows.You may see this error if EAM web services does not have enough memory cache 10,000 rows.

Solution

Change the wsgridsz install parameter, in EAM, from 10000 to 5000 and re-run the adapters.
