Pairing with MCP50
This procedure will only work on an MCP50 with an AZIO BTDV-201 Bluetooth USB dongle.
Step-by-step guide
- Connect the AZIO BTDV-201 to the USB port on your MCP50
- On the MCP50 home Screen, select the right arrow and tap Settings - Bluetooth tab and open the MCP50's keyboard.
- On your Android Device, go to Setting - Connections - Bluetooth
Some devices will have a different path to bluetooth settings - Enable Bluetooth
- You should see the MCP50 in the Available devices list.
- If you have several MCP50's, reference the device name with the Bluetooth ID shown on the MCP50.
- If you have several MCP50's, reference the device name with the Bluetooth ID shown on the MCP50.
- On your Andriod Device, tap MCP50 that you wish to pair with.
- Enter the password shown in the MCP50's Bluetooth Password field on your device.
- In some cases, the MCP50 may prompt for a Bluetooth password when connecting to a Android device. If prompted enter 0000 and tap OK.
- You should now see a Paired status on your Android device.
If you need to re-pair with the MCP after the initial paring is complete, you'll need to enter the MCP50's Bluetooth Password or 0000
Setting up the Cyan Engine for Bluetooth connections
- Go to Cyan engine settings, start the Cyan Engine and click Menu - Settings.
Some devices have a hardware menu button in the lower left corner of the device. If you device does not, the menu button will be located in the upper right corner of the screen. - Scroll down to Communication Mode and select Bluetooth
- Select MCP Bluetooth Device Name and enter MCP50
- Select the hardware back button or the Cyan icon at the top to save and exit settings.
