Data Levels

The data levels section of the configuration page in Cyan Portal allows users to change the labels of each level of data.

Changing the label of a certain level of data doesn't affect any characteristics of the data other than what it is labeled as.

  • Level 1: Trip / Manifest level
    • This level contains general information about Trips / Manifests. (i.e. ID, Sequence, Description, AssignedTo, and ScheduledDateTime)
    • Used for grouping Stops (level 2 data)
    • Default values: Trip/Trips
  • Level 2: Stop level
    • This level contains information about each stop
    • This level also contains pickup, delivery, and return badges.
      • When these badges are used, they signify whatever the badge says (i.e Delivery, Pickup, or Return)
      • Badges can be either one letter or more, depending on formatting.
    • Default values: Stop/Stops
  • Level 3: Orders
    • This level is intended to be used as the order / item level, containing information about specific item / goods ordered.
      • Information about items can include, but is not limited to, OrderType, Description, Qty, OrderedBy, DestinationAddress, and Notes.
    • Default values: Order/Orders
  • Level 4: Items / Sub-items
    • This level exists as a way to add more complexity to orders. If an order requires more description / identification than can be expressed in Level 3 alone then Level 4 can be used.
    • For Example: If an order has a stop where a variety of different items and quantity's are being dropped off, Level 4 can be used to list out the items for the specific stop.
    • Default values: Item/Items
