Upgrading / Reinstalling Advanced Mobile on Windows tablets

  1. Start the existing version of Advanced Mobile and log in as an EAM user.
  2. Go to the outbox and ensure that there are no pending transactions. There should be nothing in the outbox.
  3. Exit Advanced Mobile.
  4. In Windows Settings/Control panel, go to Add/Remove programs, find Advanced Mobile and uninstall it.
  5. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Blue Dot\Advanced Mobile EAM\Work Order Management 1.0\Client and remove all files and sub-folders if they exist.
  6. Run the Advanced Mobile msi file to reinstall.
    (info) You can download this file from your Advanced Mobile Admin Portal. The version number will be in the file name, so if you're upgrading make sure to install the correct version.
