Creating Driver Accounts for Cyan POD for Infor

Follow the guide below to create Cyan POD for Infor Driver Account and automatically assign stop from Infor SXe.

Step-by-step guide

Add Cyan User account (AKA Driver account)

  1. Login to the Cyan Web Portal as a tenant Admin (https://portal.cyan.us.com/)
  2. Go to Manage Users, click the Create New button in the upper right.
  3. Verify that your Tenant name and default user group is selected. (Required)
  4. Enter a 4 character User Name. (SXe only supports 4 character driver names, see below for more information) (Required)
  5. Enter a Password. (Required)
    1. Cyan POD for Infor does not require the driver to enter a password, so you can enter anything you like. For security reason please us a password generator like Lastpass or Keypass.
  6. Select Tenant User as the role ID
  7. Enter a Description (Optional)
  8. Select the Create button.

To specify driver during the SXe OEEHD export, you must enter the 4 character user name that you created above in the "Delivery Name" field. This name is appended to the system-generated SET file name. For example, 01_jimb_30859.set where ‘01’ is the warehouse, ‘jimb’ is the delivery name selected in the export, and ‘30859’ is a time stamp to make the file unique. Cyan looks for the delivery name in the set file name, when the delivery name matches a Cyan user name, the deliveries (aka stops) in the set file are assigned to the Cyan user. If no match is found, Cyan will assigned all deliveries to a default, unassigned account. You may manually assign or re-assign deliveries or set file to a Cyan user on the Stop Assignment page in the Cyan Web Portal (https://portal.cyan.us.com/).
