IMS setup on Windows CE

  1. Download and extract the 2 XML files from IMS_3.2.1.4.zip below and place them on your server in C:\Program Files\IMS Server\Data\Upload\. Overwrite the existing files
    IMS_3.2.1.4.zip
  2. On the device, make sure you are connected to WiFi or a PC via Windows Mobile Device Center
  3. Exit IMS if running.
  4. Start IMS (Start - Programs - USG IMS)
  5. Click Setup
  6. Enter password 12345
  7. Update the Server IP address
  8. Make sure Sync Every is set to 5 Secs.
  9. Click OK
  10. Click Enter. The device should start loading the configuration XML files.
  11. On the login screen, log in as the admin user.
  12. Select Utilities - Database Version and select SQL 2012
  13. Select OK until you get to the Main Menu
  14. Click the Sync Users checkbox
  15. Click the Upload button
