Pickup & Delivery Demo

This page contains instructions on how to set up a Cyan Pickup & Delivery Demo.

Login to the Cyan Web Portal

The Cyan Web Portal is a web application portal for managing Pickup & Delivery data, users, and devices.

1. Browse to https://portal-test.cyan.us.com/?accesskey=pd-demo
   While we support all major browsers, we recommend Google Chrome
2. Login with the following account
   User: Demo
   PW: pddemo
   

Create and upload sample data

A sample excel file for Data Upload in Pickup & Delivery can be found here →  Sample Excel Upload File for Pickup and Delivery.xlsx (  right click and select Save link As)

You may change the delivery data to relevant delivery data for your company.

A generic spreadsheet data hierarchy is as follows.

• Sheet/Level 1: Trip/Manifest
  • Must contain "AssignedTo" & "ID" columns
    
    
• Sheet/Level 2: Stops
  • Must contain "ParentID" & "ID" columns
    
    
• Sheet/Level 3: Items (Picked-up/Delivered)
  • Must contain "ParentID", "ID", & "OderType" columns
  • OrderType column must specify which type of order the stop is: Delivery or Pickup
    
    
• Sheet/Level 4: Subitems/Miscellaneous Items
  • Must contain "ParentID" & "ID" columns

Once the desired data has been entered in to the excel file, please execute the following.

1. On the Cyan Web Portal, select Pickup & Delivery Data Upload from the Custom Tools section in the upper right corner.
   
2. Click Choose File, browse to the xlsx file and click Upload.
   
3. The data will be uploaded and processed. Processing audit trail is shown at the bottom of the screen.

Device Setup

You my use any Android device that is running Android Jelly Bean v4.1 or greater.

1. Download the Cyan Engine to your PC - cyanEngine-arm-release-xwalk_1.2.132.apk

2. Connect your Android device to you PC via USB.

3. Once connected, go to My Computer, you should see your device in the drive list.
    

4. Copy and paste the cyan engine apk file to the root of the phone.
5. On your device, select all Apps - My Files - All files. Tap the Cyan Engine apk to install.
   
6. Select Next, Install and Open
   
7. Enter Enrollment ID: V0P200
8. Password: CyanDemo and tap the > to enroll your device
   
   
9. After in enrollment, the Cyan Engine will download the latest version of Pickup & Delivery and display the login screen.
10. Enter Driver ID: driver1 and tap Login
    
11. Upon login, Pickup & Delivery will automatically sync. When the sync has completed, you will see the delivery information from the excel file.
