Issues Remote Control a device using Chrome v42.0.2311.90

Problem

When using Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90, Simplicity (MobiControl) continuously prompts you to download and install the remote control plugin.

Solution

  1. Open Chrome and enter the following in the address bar.
    chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
  2. Enable "NPAPI"
  3. Exit all open Chrome windows and tabs.
  4. Re-open Chrome and try remote control again. If it still does not work, restart your PC.
